| Vialii
Garden Design was launched in 2007 by Michael Burt and Jill Barnes as
an extension of Vialii Garden Services (trading as Wee County Gardening
at the time). Michael and Jill felt there was a gap in the market for
good quality garden design which could then be built by the same
company, ensuring the garden remains true to the vision. Since
launching, VGD have designed an array of gardens from large sprawling
gardens in the country to modest back yards in the suburbs. Vialii
Garden Design has been featured in Scottish Homes & Interiors
magazine (March 2009) where they highlighted the benefits of good
garden design.
You can read more from Michael and Jill in their regular gardening
column for the Bridge of Allan Times. |

Michael Burt
Michael's background
is as a Structural Engineer but he decided to take the leap into
running his own business in 2006. Already a keen gardener, Michael
decided to make his hobby a full time business and launched Wee County
Gardening. WCG quickly became an established and trusted brand
providing garden maintenance and landscaping services throughout the
central belt. With his structural background, eye for design and rarely
used artistic
skills, a move into garden design was an obvious expansion for the
business. When
Michael and Jill moved to Bridge of Allan in summer 2008, they decided
to rebrand Wee County Gardening as Vialii Garden Services and bring it
in line with the Vialii Garden Design brand.
