There are lots of reasons why you may need the help of a professional garden designer. Perhaps you are already a keen gardener but you need a bit of guidance and creative input to turn your nice garden into a stunning outdoor room or simply transform a border you are having problems with. Q4. What do I get if I employ the services of Vialii Garden Design

• An initial FREE, no obligation meeting to discuss your requirements, site assessment, presentation of our portfolio.
• A follow up meeting to present initial sketches and ideas for your comment.
• A final design sketch showing all the elements of the design including lawns, paths, trees, planting, seating areas, ponds etc.
• A mood board giving you a feel for the materials and plants used in the design.
• A cost for the design to be built using Wee County Gardening’s service

Q5. How much will it cost to design my garden?

As you will appreciate every garden is different so it’s impossible to give a definitive cost for a design without seeing the garden and meeting the client. We offer a FREE, no obligation initial consultation where we discuss your ideas, assess the site (take measurements, soil samples, look at aspect etc.) and present our portfolio. From there the actual design cost can be anything from £300 depending on how complicated the site and design are as well as what elements are included e.g. lots of hard landscaping, water features, lighting, sculptures, bespoke seating etc. If you simply want a planting plan for a bed or a shrub border this can also be costed for.

Q6. What locations do you cover?

We cover all locations in central Scotland. However, we are happy to consider locations further afield with the travelling expenses will be reflected in the costs.

Q7. Do you build the design as well?

Vialii Garden Design’s sister company, Wee County Gardening, are happy to undertake the build of the design. We can ensure the service is seamless so you don’t have the worry of having to work with different contractors and incur delays waiting to see your garden completed. We are competitively priced and as creators of both the vision and the actual garden itself you can rest assured your design will be completed as per the plan. There may be some instances where we will use external contractors but the details will be discussed fully with yourself. Looking to the future, Wee County Gardening can also provide a regular maintenance service for your garden, should that be required.

Q8. Do I have to use Wee County Gardening to build the design?

No, we are happy for you to use the designs and build your garden yourself or to give the designs to your own contractor. If you prefer, we can project manage your external contractor to ensure they stay true to the design. Costings for this service will be provided along with the design.

Q9. Can I make my garden eco-friendly?

Vialii Garden Design always encourage the use of sustainable, local materials and environmentally friendly gardens wherever possible. We are happy to discuss to what extent you want to make your garden eco friendly whether it be alternative to patio heaters, use of solar panels, using local materials or simply encouraging wildlife into your garden.
